Ungava Gin Easy Classic, Fancy

The phrase the “bee’s knees” was used in Prohibition times as slang to mean “the best.” This cocktail is a gin sour that’s believed to have been created around that time and features fresh lemon and honey as key ingredients. If your guest wants something refreshing with gin, look no further.

Ingredients

  • 60 ml (2 oz.) Ungava gin
  • 22 ml (¾ oz.) fresh lemon juice
  • 22 ml (¾ oz.) honey syrup (2:1 honey:water)
  • Lemon zest
  • Ice cubes

Preparation

  • Pour all liquid ingredients into a shaker with ice.
  • Shake vigorously
  • Fine strain into a chilled cocktail coupe or martini glass.
  • Garnish with a lemon zest.
