Chic Choc in the Tropics

Chic Choc Spiced Rum Moderate Adventurer, Classic

Thanks to its tropical pineapple flavours, this cocktail is perfect to sip by the pool or to snub cold winter evenings. The Chic Choc in the Tropics gives you the best of both worlds: Caribbean and Quebec flavours.

Ingredients

  • 45 ml (1½ oz.) Chic Choc Spiced Rum
  • 22 ml (¾ oz.) pineapple juice
  • 8-10 basil leaves
  • 4-5 pineapple chunks
  • Club soda
  • Ice cubes

Tip

For a twist, replace the basil with mint.

Preparation

  • In a highball glass pour in the rum and the pineapple juice. Add basil leaves and pineapple chunks.
  • Stir vigorously with a spoon.
  • Add ice cubes to the top of the glass.
  • Top up with club soda.
  • Garnish with a chunk of pineapple and a basil leaf.
