Chic Choc Black Rum, Kayak Red Vermouth Moderate Fancy

Rediscover in this refreshing cocktail, all the foresty aromas of Chic Choc Black Rum, elevated by a touch of blood orange and berries.

Ingredients

  • 45 ml (1 1/2 oz.) Chic Choc Black Rum
  • 15 ml (1/2 oz.) Kayak red vermouth
  • 15 ml (1/2 oz.) lemon juice
  • 15 ml (1/2 oz.) simple syrup
  • 1 dash of strawberry bitters (optional)
  • 90 ml (3 oz.) blood orange soda
  • 90 ml (3 oz.) sparkling wine
  • Blackberries
  • Ground cherries
  • Ice cubes

Preparation

  • Pour all the liquid ingredients, except the soda and the sparkling wine, into an ice filled shaker.
  • Shake vigorously.
  • Strain the contents of the shaker into a highball glass filled with ice cubes.
  • Top up with the soda and the sparkling wine.
  • Garnish with ground cherries and blackberries on a cocktail pick.
